Norfolk prosecutors will not pursue conspiracy to commit murder, solicitation to commit murder and use of electronic means child sex charges against former Virginia Beach school employee Patience Perez.

However, charges that she slept with a 15-year-old boy in her Norfolk home were sent to a grand jury after she waved her preliminary hearing in court Wednesday morning.

According to court records, Perez began a sexual relationship with a Renaissance Academy student earlier this year while she worked there as an assistant security guard.

A Virginia Beach criminal complaint says Perez admitted to sleeping with the boy 'multiple times'.  The complaint also says Perez and the boy exchanged Facebook messages about killing her husband.

Documents also say Perez and the boy would often return to her home in Norfolk where they would smoke marijuana and have sex.

Investigators also say the two were exchanging pornographic photos over their cell phones.

The Norfolk grand jury could indict Perez on indecent liberties charges when they meet on September 18, 2013.

Perez has already been indicted on indecent liberties charges in Virginia Beach.  Her trial there is set for October 2, 2013.
