VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – City officials announced that there are red flags flying at all beaches Wednesday.
The flags are up to warn beach goers of rough surf and the chance of rip currents.

This warning includes Croatan, North End, Resort and Sandbridge beaches.
For your safety, check with lifeguards before attempting to go in the water.
