VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The City of Virginia Beach said on Twitter that Sandbridge will be flying red flags due to high winds, rough surf and the potential for rip currents.
Red flags were also flown on Sunday for all Virginia Beach beaches while having the same risks.
Beachgoers are encouraged to check with lifeguards before entering the water.
