Two displaced following Virginia Beach house fire

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Two adults were displaced Sunday following a Virginia Beach multi-family house fire.

Officials say at 11:15 a.m., crews responded to a fire on Charmont Court in the Ridgely Manor section of Virginia Beach.

When crews arrived on scene at 11:21a.m., they were met at the front by the home owner who reported smoke in the home.

Crews accessed the building to find smoke and flames in the kitchen area of the home and declared a “working fire”.

The fire was brought under control at 11:30 a.m. and the fire was declared out at 11:41a.m.

Two adults were displaced and there were no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
