VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Police respond to a single vehicle crash that happened in the 1200 block of Miller Store Rd. on Wednesday around 10:20 p.m.
According to a news release, when officers arrived at the scene, they rendered life-saving efforts to the adult male driver who was found in the vehicle.
Emergency Medical Services arrived and also rendered medical aid to the driver, but unfortunately he succumbed to his injuries and he was pronounced dead, according to the release.
The report says that police conducted an investigation, and project that the male struck a tree before coming to a stop.
No other vehicles were involved, and no other passengers were present.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash and the investigation is ongoing.
