NAGS HEAD, N.C. – Everyone is safe after a house fire in the Outer Banks.
Nags Head Fire and Rescue responded to a house fire at 4047 South Virginia Dare Trail around 12:50 p.m. Friday.
The fire department says people were in the house at the time of the fire, but all of the home's residents and their pets escaped without injury.
Several other local public safety departments helped Nags Head firefighters during the incident.
The fire was brought under control, and the cause is still under investigation.
