NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Firefighters with the Newport News Fire Department are on scene of a multi-unit apartment fire in the 13000 block of Preakness Avenue Tuesday night.
Between 9 and 12 units were affected, the fire department says. Defensive operations performed early on saved the rest of the building.
All units are holding.
No injuries have been reported.
There is no further information.
