NORFOLK, Va. — A body was found in the water near Norfolk International Airport Friday morning, according to Norfolk police.
Police identified the body as 64-year-old Nathaniel H. Ashe Jr. of Norfolk, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a post to X, Norfolk PD said it was an undetermined death, and Ashe was found near Norview Avenue and Azalea Garden Road around 10:15 a.m. on Friday.
No foul play is suspected, according to a recent release from police.
