VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - One resident has been displaced after a house fire in the Salem section of the city.
Around 5:40 p.m., Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a residential fire in the 1700 block of Silver Springs Court.
Units on scene had heavy fire and smoke showing from the rear of the house. The fire was marked under control at 6:10 p.m. No injuries were reported.
The fire displaced one resident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
