CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Three adults are now displaced after a fire damaged their home in the Greenbrier section of Chesapeake.
Officials say on Tuesday, firefighters received a call regarding a fire in the 600 block of Shadow Brooke Drive at 12:48 p.m.
When crews arrived they found a two story home with smoke coming from the front door and second floor windows.
The residents were not home at the time of the fire.
The fire was called under control at 1:10 p.m.
One firefighter was injured and taken to a local emergency room with minor injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
