KITTY HAWK, N.C. - Kitty Hawk Fire Department responded to a single-family house fire Sunday afternoon.
Crews responded to a fire at 2:48 p.m., in the 3900 block of Parker Street.
Officials say all the fire was under control around 3:50 p.m.
One occupant was treated and taken to OBX Hospital to be treated for injuries.
Two Kitty Hawk firefighters were also treated and taken to OBX Hospital to be treated for heat exhaustion.
The home, along with two cars, was completely destroyed with three adjacent homes sustaining fire damage.
An investigation into the origin and cause is still ongoing, officials say.
