GLOUCESTER Co., Va. - A body was found in a swamp area in Gloucester County on Friday.
Around 11:30 a.m., officials found the body of what is believed to be a female on the back side of the Fox Mill Subdivision.
Officials said an investigation is underway with the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Norfolk to identify the person and to rule the cause of death.
There is no further information at this time.
