HAMPTON ROADS, Va. — A tractor-trailer fire on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel caused delays in both directions Sunday.
Officials with the tunnel said the call for the fire came in around 2 p.m. and that the incident was near the third island heading northbound. They also said the Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to the fire to help.
The cause of the fire is unknown and no one was injured during the incident.
