NORFOLK, Va. - A house fire that erupted in the 1400 block of Lois Lane in Norfolk is now under control, according to Norfolk Fire-Rescue.
One person has been rescued and taken to the hospital with what appears to be non life-threatening injuries.
Upon arrival, firefighters witnessed the woman trying to escape out of a window.
The fire started in the kitchen.
