FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – Trooper D.H. Cepelnik made two new furry friends on Thursday.

The trooper saved the little guys after their mother was hit and killed in traffic.

The cubs were safely relocated to the Wildlife Center of Virginia in Waynesboro, but not before the trooper snapped a photo with the adorable pair.
