NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Crews were battling a large fire Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said the two alarm commercial structure fire was at the Canon building in the 12000 block of Canon Blvd.
The call about the fire was placed around 1:30 p.m.
A public relations official said the fire was contained to the roof of the building and took about 10 minutes for the fire department to extinguish.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
There were no injuries reported.
