VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Crews are battling a large apartment building fire Thursday afternoon.
The fire is near Baxter Road and S. Independence Blvd.
Crews got a call about the fire around 12:30 p.m.
Firefighters said they are battling heavy smoke and flames.
There is no information on possible injuries or cause of the fire at this time.
