Duck Fire Department hosts live fire training sessions

BUXTON, N.C. – Firefighters along the Outer Banks were busy training this weekend.

The Duck Fire Department hosted a live training event at their Buxton facility.

Things are purposely set on fire to allow firefighters to practice for the real thing.

The training aims to help crews when they are battling a real fire.
