NORFOLK, Va. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will open a temporary week-long application center for its TSA PreCheck Application Program inside Norfolk International Airport on Monday.

The center will remain open until December 9. The Enrollment Center will be located in the Arrivals Terminal near Baggage Claim #2.

Citizens and lawful permanent residents can go through a pre-enrollment process online at www.TSA.gov, make an appointment and complete their enrollment in the program in person or as a walk-in at the application center.

Staff at the center will verify the applicant’s identity and help them provide fingerprints.

TSA PreCheck is an expedited screening program that allows travelers to leave on their shoes, light outerwear, and belt, keep their laptop in its case and their 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels bag in a carry-on, in select airport screening lanes.

More than 180 airports participate in TSA PreCheck nationwide.
