CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — A fisherman found the body of a white male in the Appomattox River Wednesday afternoon, according to WTVR.
The body was found at about 2:15 p.m. by Campbell’s Bridge near the Chesterfield-Petersburg line.
The body was found near Virginia State University, but there was no indication that the man was connected to the university.
