NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Police are investigating after a 14-year-old was shot Monday night.
Officers were called to the 7400 block of River Road just after 7:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, they located the teen who had been shot in both the chest and arm.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of possible life threatening injuries.
