NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Firefighters are trying to figure out what caused someone’s home to catch on fire Saturday afternoon.
Fire & Rescue crews were called to the first block of Lilac Court, just off Beech Drive, shortly before 4:30 p.m.
When fire officials arrived, they found flames coming from a one-story home.
One person lives in the home but was not injured in the fire.
There’s no word on what caused the fire at this time.
