HAMPTON, Va. - One man has died and two others have been injured in a shooting near Hampton University Wednesday night.
The incident occurred at the Hampton Harbor Apartments in the first block of Mariners Cove Road. Police Dispatch got a call about the incident at 9:42 p.m.
The victim who was pronounced dead at the scene has been identified by police as 20-year-old Kevin Neal.
The two injured victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Hampton University released a statement saying none of the people involved with the shooting were Hampton University students.
Hampton Police later said investigators had identified all of the individuals involved and are no longer seeking any suspects.
