CHARLOTTE, N.C. – “Daniel” the duck has ruffled some feathers in a good way on Sunday.

Mark Essig, historian and author of Lesser Beasts: A Snout-to-Tail History of the Humble Pig took to Twitter on Monday so the world could meet Daniel the duck.

Essig’s tweets explain that Daniel was an emotional support duck to another passenger on a flight from Charlotte to Asheville.

The tweets also show the duck’s kind personality and awesome attire.
