Virginia Beach, Va. - Local fitness group and apparel company Flex Your Fitness (FYF) threw their third annual "Kids Bash" at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex Saturday. More than 100 kids indulged in capture the flag, dance battles, moon bounces, all of the playground classics. With school starting back up in a few weeks, it's a way for kids to get active and out of the house. "The whole purpose is just to really promote health and fitness throughout the community," says FYF founder Joshua Banks.
"I think with the kids getting ready to go back to school, I really wanted to give them a boost as they get ready to go into the new school year to really focus on the fact that we have video games, so many different things that kids are in the house now, you have to be active, you have to get out, you have to be fit."
