KOKOMO, Ind. – Tornadoes tore through parts of Indiana on Wednesday, injuring more than a dozen people and causing widespread damage – including to a Starbucks that was leveled while a man recorded with his cellphone, according to WXIN.

Brandon Mobley, who was watching the storm slam into the Kokomo shopping center from a nearby Chili's restaurant, recorded the stunning video.

No employees were hurt in the collapse, according to Starbucks.

Race car driver Conor Daly, who happened to be driving by shortly after the tornado passed, documented the coffee shop's collapse on Twitter. “Unbelievable! Just left @kokomospeedway and found an entire Starbucks displaced by tornado! Hope everyone is ok!” Daly tweeted.

Police say around 15 to 20 people were injured during the tornado outbreak. The tornado ripped through the nearby Park Place Apartments in Kokomo, causing heavy damage to the buildings.

The Salvation Army and Howard County officials opened a shelter to help victims at the Kokomo Events Center at 1500 North Reed Road. You can donate to the Salvation Army's efforts by texting “Hoosier” to 41444.

Jeff Hauswald, the superintendent of Kokomo Schools, canceled Thursday classes. The school buildings escaped severe damage.

“Our thoughts remain with the families who have been negatively impacted by this storm,” said Hauswald. “Thank you for sharing this message and for reaching out to us.”
