Hampton man wanted after being stabbed by girlfriend during physical altercation

HAMPTON, Va. – Police say a domestic argument turned violent before 6 p.m. Saturday, leaving one man with a stab wound in his chest.

The incident happened in the 2300 block of Shell Road, near the intersection with Powhatan Parkway.

Police were called to the Sentara Care-Plex on Coliseum Dr. for a man who was suffering from a single stab wound.

The 24-year-old victim, Brandon May Conrad, told police that he had been stabbed by his girlfriend. Police then made contact with the 25-year-old girlfriend who admitted to the stabbing.

The woman informed police that she stabbed Conrad after a verbal argument turned violent and he began to physically assault her.

Conrad’s injuries were treated and he was released from the hospital.

Conrad is currently wanted. His last known address is in the 2300 block of Shell Road.

He has a warrant for his arrest and is wanted on one count of Strangulation/Chocking of Another.
