CLEVELAND, Ohio – Monday marked the start of the Republican National Convention and Republican delegates from across the country will officially nominate Donald Trump the presidential nominee.

Tonight’s speakers are focusing on one main theme: “Make America Safe Again,” a play on the Trump Campaign’s “Make America Great Again” slogan.

According to the official program released by the Republican National Committee tonight’s speakers will focus on domestic and overseas terrorist attacks.

Speakers like Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) and Lt. Gen Michael Flynn (Ret.) will focus on American security threats and what they consider failures by the Obama Administration and Hillary Clinton in Benghazi, Libya.

A major plank of Trump’s platform has been undocumented immigration. Speakers like Jamiel Shaw, an immigration reform advocate, will reflect Trump’s calls for stricter immigration laws. Shaw’s son was killed by a man in the country illegally.

Despite rumors of quarterback Tim Tebow as a possible speaker, several stars are also expected to appear in Cleveland. Actor Scott Baio and “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson both spoke Monday. Both men have endorsed Trump.
