SUSSEX COUNTY, Va. – The driver of a tractor trailer died in a single vehicle crash on Route 460 Sunday.
The crash happened around 8:40 a.m. at Cabin Point.
According to Virginia State Police, the driver was traveling eastbound on Route 460 when he ran off the road and hit a tree.
When troopers arrived, the tractor trailer was engulfed in flames and the driver was trapped inside.
He died at the scene.
Police have identified him as James Abram Clutter, 63, of Broadway, Va.
