CHESAPEAKE, Va. – DICK’S Sporting Goods and Field & Stream are now hiring for their new store in Chesapeake, which is scheduled to open in August.
The store is located in the new Greenbrier Square shopping center, off Battlefield Boulevard, just north of I-64.
The store, which is the largest U.S.-based, full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer, will also feature a Field & Stream specialty store under the same roof.
The location will also be one of the first to include a new and improved footwear section designed to offer a broad selection of sports performance and casual footwear.
Approximately 85 new full-time and part-time employees will be hired to staff each new store.

To celebrate the new store in Chesapeake, DICK’S will host a three-day weekend of Grand Opening festivities with a variety of giveaways and special appearances in-store.

Other new stores opening soon in the shopping center include Kroger, Home Goods, and Five Below.
