CURRITUCK COUNTY, N.C. - You can't talk about International Mud Day without mentioning Dennis Anderson's Muddy Motorsports Park off of Caratoke Highway in Aydlett, North Carolina.

"You know, we have International Mud Day out here quite a bit!" says Dennis Anderson, the creator and driver of the famous Grave Digger Monster Truck."I started in the mud, I'm gonna finish in the mud," says Anderson. "I've been playin' mud trucks and monster jam trucks for over 35 years."

His Muddy Motorsports Park hosts massive events with all kinds of obstacle courses and races throughout the year.

"This is probably one of the most exciting mud tracks that you can come to in Northeast North Carolina," says Anderson. "It's like once you come out here one time and you do it, you will be back to hang out with us again."

And whenever there isn't a race scheduled, about a mile down the road is Diggers Dungeon. This homage is complete with repair shops, kids activities, and Digger's Diner. Not to mention, its home of the Original Grave Digger.

"Once you step on the property, there you see where the Grave Digger has been born, where we build them, where we repair them. We've got them on display out there, some of the first trucks that I started with."

So if you're looking for a little mud, this is where you need to be.

The next big event at the Muddy Motorsports Park is North vs. South on September 10th.

All the biggest and baddest trucks from the North are coming down to meet the best of the best from the South in a head on competition. For more details, check out their website.
