Indianapolis, Ind. – Quarterback Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts have reached an agreement on a six-year contract extension that will keep him in Indianapolis through 2021. Luck is now the highest-paid player in NFL history.

The deal is worth $139 million, with $87 million guaranteed. The deal will pay $25 million a year over the next three years.

Luck was taken No. 1 overall in the 2012 draft, and immediately gave the Colts an optimistic outlook on the future of the franchise.
