DENVER – Police reported an active shooter situation Tuesday afternoon, at 15th and Wynkoop, just blocks from the University of Colorado Denver.
According to Denver Police, there was one adult female victim who was taken to an area hospital and is in critical condition.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene with what police believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police said the shooting did not appear to be random.
The scene was secure around 3:30 p.m.
