PORTSMOUTH, Va. – A petition to recall Portsmouth Mayor Kenny Wright has gained enough signatures for a recall, according to a man leading the efforts.
Robert Marcus said his group has 8,100 signatures and only needed 7,776 to turn in the petition.
He said the group will continue to collect signatures and will turn them in to the City Clerk on July 12.
