CHESAPEAKE, Va. – One person died Tuesday after a medical emergency and crash at the intersection of North Battlefield Blvd. and Volvo Parkway.
Emergency crews were called to the location shortly after 11 a.m.
All of the vehicles involved were traveling northbound in the left lanes on Battlefield Blvd.
Police believe the driver of the vehicle at fault, a 79-year-old man, had a medical emergency.
He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
One other driver was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
