CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Fans of Japanese animation and culture gathered in Chesapeake this weekend for "Anime Mid-Atlantic 16."
The annual event featured artists, vendors, and various guests from the anime industry. Cosplayers had a chance to strike a pose at the Cosplay Fashion Show and Hall Costume Contest.
The three day convention took place at three local venues: Marriott Chesapeake, the adjacent Chesapeake Conference Center, and Wingate By Wyndham hotel.
