VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A Virginia Beach townhouse was heavily damaged by a fire early Sunday.
The Virginia Beach Fire Department arrived at the home in the 800 block of Bridgeport Place at 7:13 a.m. and had the fire out by 7:35 a.m.
VBFD reports that no one was injured and a dog and cat were rescued from the home.
The fire caused heavy damage to the rear of the townhouse.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
