VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - USO Warrior Week is is a series of events bringing together physical, therapeutic, and recreational activities specifically for wounded services members. Each participant will have the chance to partake in activities such as fishing, golf, and, for the adventurous, skydiving.
In a Ride2Recovery event, participants rode adaptive bicycles from Washington D.C. to Virginia Beach.
The USO is also hosting its Military Village and Patriot Park Friday through Sunday. The park contains a mobile education center, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, as well as entertainment. Some of the performers will include the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon and the USO Show Troupe.
The Military Village and Patriot Park are located at the 17th Street Park in Virginia Beach.
