Police charge student after threatening graffiti posted at Grafton School Complex

YORK COUNTY, Va. – A 14-year-old student has been charged for threats to bomb after threatening graffiti was found in a school bathroom.

Deputies from the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office and officials from York County Schools investigated the potential threat on Wednesday afternoon.

Officials the threat was not credible and the students were never in danger regarding the incident.

“EVERY potential threat must be taken seriously,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post. “We work well with the school system to keep the kids safe.”
