WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation opened the doors of the Liberty Lounge on Thursday, May 26. The area is designed as a place for military guests to relax and enjoy complimentary WiFi and beverages. It also contains a play area for the children.
The Liberty Lounge is part of an initiative lead by Elizabeth Reiss to honor the Foundation’s military guests and their families. She stated, “We look forward to Liberty Lounge’s opening and the opportunity it will provide us to serve those who serve our nation selflessly.”
In order to access the Liberty Lounge, military guests should get a pass from any current ticketing location using their military ID. The Liberty Lounge is open to all veterans, active duty, and dependents who currently hold or purchase passes to Colonial Williamsburg.
