Sunoco gas station robbery under investigation in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on May 21 at the Sunoco Gas Station at 4528 E. Princess Anne Road.

Police say just after 9:15 p.m., an armed man entered the gas station and stole various items and cash from the register, before running from the store.

Detectives describe the man as a black male with a light complexion, approximately 6’ tall.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a unique t-shirt underneath. The t-shirt was described as being blue on the front and red on the back. He also wore dark jean shorts that extended below the knee, white socks, and black tennis shoes with white stripes at the bottom. During the robbery, the man’s head and face were covered with a white t-shirt.
