JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. – A 20-year-old man was shot at Lafayette Square Apartments Monday afternoon.
Police responded to the 100 block of Dehaven Court just before 1 p.m.
A handgun was found at the scene, but authorities don’t think it was the gun fired in the shooting.
The victim was taken to Riverside Regional Hospital and is expected to be okay.
