NORFOLK, Va. – The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Norfolk will be hosting the annual Greek Festival from May 12 to May 15.
The festival is the oldest and largest ethnic festival in Tidewater, and will be held in a large tent on the grounds of the Cathedral, located at 7220 Granby Street across from Granby High School.
Attendees will be able to enjoy traditional Greek cuisine, live entertainment, arts, crafts and a cooking school.
Outdoor stands will be serving traditional Greek foods, from lamb to baklava.
The Annunciation Dancers will be the festival’s entertainment for the festival as they perform traditional Greek dances.
A live Greek band will also be performing throughout the festival.
The Greek Festival will run from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday. For more information on the event, call 757-640-0500.
