VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Firefighters responded to a fire Saturday morning that left three people displaced.
Crews arrived in the 1200 block of Hillock Crossing at 6:47 a.m.
They saw heavy smoke and flames coming the front and back of the townhome.
Firefighters had the fire under control in just under 10 minutes and were able to stop the fire from spreading to more units.
Two men and one woman escaped and were not hurt.
The three people displaced are being helped by the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
