HAMPTON, Va. - Police are investigating after a man was fatally shot Wednesday night.
Officers were called to the 1100 block of West Pembroke Ave. around 9:50 p.m. on a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, police located a 24-year-old Hampton man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant.

The man was unresponsive and was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
Friends of the victim have left a tribune to him at the scene. Authorities have not yet released his identity.
