Two Chesapeake officers charged with assault, on paid administrative duty

CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Two police officers are on paid administrative duty after allegations they assaulted a suspect.

Officers Thomas Walden and Michael Hill face misdemeanor assault charges, according to department spokesperson Kelly O'Sullivan.

O'Sullivan says the charges come from an October arrest, where the suspect claimed to be a victim of assault by the officers.
