Missing Portsmouth 12-year-old boy found safe

UPDATE: Immanuel B. Birdine has been found safe. He has been returned home.

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Police need your help finding a 12-year-old missing boy.

Authorities say Immanuel B. Birdine was last seen around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday as he ran away from S.H. Clarke’s New Directions Program in the 2800 block of Turnpike Road.

Immanuel has not been seen or heard from since he left school this afternoon. He has not returned home.

Immanuel Birdine is described as a black male that stands approximately 5’5” tall and weighs 230 pounds.  He has brown eyes and black hair.

Immanuel was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, black pants, blue shoes and blue/black printed jacket.
