Virginia Beach, Va. – Firefighters fought three brush fires across Virginia Beach Friday afternoon.
The fire department is asking citizens to stop throwing lit cigarettes out of their car windows. Improper disposal of smoking materials is a common cause of brush fires.
“Windy and dry conditions are a recipe for disaster,” the VBFD tweeted.
