New charges for suspect in 2008 murder of Norfolk woman

Norfolk, Va. – A man suspected of murdering a woman in 2008 was indicted by a grand jury Wednesday on two counts of capital murder.

Michael Brown of North Carolina is suspected in the death of Angela Lechlitner.

Her body was found in her Norfolk home in January 2008.

Brown had been indicted on one count of second degree murder on March 2 but Wednesday that charge was increased to two counts of capital murder, one count of abduction, one count of object sexual penetration and one count of malicious wounding.
