It’s the National Park Service’s Centennial, and to celebrate this occasion, a series of stamps will be released over the next three weeks.

On June 2nd, Assateague Island National Seashore will be commemorated as part of the National Park Forever Stamps pane.

The wild horses were previewed as the third of 16 Forever Stamp images.

A photograph taken by Tim Fitzharris of Fayetville, AR was used to create this stamp.
